accedintal remove usb arbitrator service

Hi,

During some troubleshooting I've accidentally removed VMWare USB Arbit. Service. What this service for? Is there any way to manually reinstall? My VM's are working, but vmware workstation service cannot be started due to the missing dependency. I'm running VMWare Workstation Pro 12.5.9 on Win10. The whole product already been reinstalled

SOLVED

sc create  VMUSBArbService displayname="VMware USB Arbitrator Service"  binPath="C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\VMware\USB\vmware-usbarbitrator64.exe"

However, I'm still interested what this service for?

This appeared on the right hand side.

cannot start usb arbitration service

Have you tried the "Repair" installation?

Somehow, there is no repair option in my case. Modify button is grey... however the manual service reinstall worked
