Workstation pro 16 does not scan for existing VMs in directory

Hello,

I am a first-time workstation pro user. When I click the option to scan for Virtual Machines, it does not seem to recognize the VMs, when in fact they are there. Is there a way a can fix this? At the moment, I am still able to open and access the VMs however I will need to open the VMs indidvudally by searching through the directory below everytime. I have also set clicked the match the system hierarchy folder. No luck.

C:\Users\username\Documents\Virtual Machines

Any help with this will be much appreciated!

Use the "File->Scan for Virtual Machines" options and that will walk you thru a menu to actually find them.   In the bottom picture, you must point to a top-level location where the VMs are stored.

Hello Ray,

I have provided the correct file location and directory. The VMs still do not show up as intended. I appreciate you taking the time to reply.

Maybe try to check the permissions of the directories and files.
