Workstation Pro for Ubuntu 20.04

Hi,

Is there a timeline for Workstation Pro to be supported on Ubuntu 20.04? I can't find any information from VMWare about this.

Best,

Brien

15.5.5 and 15.5.6 support it as both host OS and a guest OS:

Oh very interesting. I assumed the error below was due to not supporting the OS. Do you know what this error means (could not open /dev/vmmon: No such file or directory.)? I have a fresh install of Ubuntu 20.04 and VMWare Workstation Pro 15.5.6 . The Host OS version is 5.4.0-37-generic .

Did you let the installer run all its configuration steps?  Did you reboot your host after installing?

Are these errors upon launching Workstation, or trying to start a virtual machine?
