I'm wondering if this has been asked like a gazillion time already but the truth is I have been unable to find proper solution.
I'm running Workstation Pro 15.1 on a Manjaro 18 Linux host and am connecting to a local Windows XP VM with latest available vmware-tools (1.0.12.x). Whenever I get focus on my VM for some mistery reason my keyboardmap on the host is changed. I can only get the proper key mappings working on my host by issuing a call to xsetbmap. I've tried adding all the xkeymap.nokeycodeMap = true, the xkeymap.usekeycodeMap = true and many others in both ~/.vmware/config and /usr/lib/vmware/config. I'm using KDE and a Portuguese keyboard layout. Does anyone know of any other solutions that may solve my issue?
