Workstation Guest Display Transparency Issues

Updated all software to the latest versions and have an issue with pop up menus and mainly menus that load from selections of menus/icons in various browser windows. It occurs with Edge, Chrome and Opera.
The menus don't display correctly and it appears to be an issue with transparency to the point that the menu can't even be viewed.
VMware 16 Pro 16.2.3 build-19376536
Host and Guest - Windows 10 Pro 21H2

It is to the point that the guest operating system is useless.

There is no issue with the host operating system.

I have turned off transparency in both the host and guest operating system and still have the same issue.

Anyone else having this issue?

Figured it out.  Disabled 3D graphics-Accelerate 3D graphics in Display settings. It works now.

If you actually need 3D acceleration, I've found reverting to the display driver in VMware-tools-11.1.5-16724464 on the guest fixes this bug.

VMware-tools-11.1.5-16724464 did not fix anything for me.

This does fix it though: https://www.tipsdotcom.com/vmware-popups-are-blank.html

Yup, this rollback worked for me in a Windows 11 VM.

While it mitigates the transparency problem, if you play videos from youtube in the guest, it crashes the display driver over-and-over until about the 5th time when the guest disables the display driver entirely and leaves you with a 640x480 screen.
