just out of curiosity - are there any public release dates to Workstation 9.0.3 or 9.5? 9.0.2 is getting a bit old and has problems with Linux kernels after 3.8.x. Rumors are welcome as well 🙂
Not that I would know of. VMware usually doesn't provide such information. Anyway, according to VMware Workstation Technology Preview 2013, the evaluation will expire October 15, 2013 and VMworld will take place at the end of August, so there's a good chance that a release data (prior to the expiration date) will be announced at VMworld.
thanks for the pointer. Definitely interesting. The follow-up question that arises is whether that upcoming release will be 9.5 or 10.0. Not unimportant from a licensing point of view 🙂
