Hi,
I'm running VMware Workstation 7.0.1 on openSUSE 11.2. One guest OS is Windows XP, another is SLES10. The configured keyboard on the host and the guests is a swissgerman keyboard.
Symptom: the AltGr key or ! key does not work inside the guest OS
- doesn't matter whether Windows XP or SLES 10 as guest os
- doesn't matther whether using KDE or GNOME on the host os.
In the host os the keyboard layout is fine and every key works. Workstation 7.0.1 worked fine on openSUSE 11.0 host os with swissgerman keyboard. Probably an openSUSE 11.2 fault and I'm wrong here because the openSUSE developers removed the keyboard layout configuration from Yast. One only can configure the keyboard layout in the KDE/GNOME configuration.
Any hints where the bug may be?
