Workstation 6 video playback

Has anyone had any issues with users not being able to view the .avi file after creating a video? Myself and the person I sent it to have Windows Media Player 10, but it keeps giving him codec errors. It just seems like a simple .avi file so I'm not sure what the issue is. Does the other person need some kind of VMware player installed too? Thanks

The special codec should be available somewhere - it was so for WS 5 codecs ...

So it's a special codec for VM playback?

Yes. Go to the Workstation download page, then the Drivers and Tools tab. About halfway down the page is the Movie Decoder.
