Workstation 16 (W10 VM/Guest)
OS disk (drive C) is mechanical and Apps & VMs are located an SSD.
Windows VM can take up to 1.5 minutes to get to the desktop.
I noticed that the OS disk spikes to 100% usage when I boot a VM even though both Workstation and the VMs are on a separate disk (SSD; which barely spikes).
Workstation was originally installed on OS disk but I decided to move it to the SSD, but I still see the OS disk spoking when I boot the VM.
