Trying to link 16-bit programs using rtl-swap.exe by PocketSoft in a guest Windows 10 32-bit Pro.
My host is 64-bit Windows 11.
RtLink is an advanced linker that supports overlays and was used for 16-bit programs like Microsoft PDS 7.1
The compiled programs using RTLINK work great in the guest, but must be created on another machine.
I created a dump of the 32-bit Windows 10 machine to a .zip file as requested, but have no place to send it.
This is day 1 of my 30-day evaluation.
Workstation Tech Preview wouldn't install.
I got a response from VmWare tech support to ask questions here.
I am back to looking for a solution using searches since they didn't want to analyze the program.
I'll probably buy since it works so good, but have to keep another machine with 32-windows to be able to link.
Since you are running Win11 as your host, you may want to try the Workstation Tech Preview, as it has better support for Win11.
I never heard of that one! I'll look for it.
Thank you!
