Workstation 15 pro crashed. Need to recover VM owner lock ...

VM / host crashed with a memory exception while a VM was running, Had to hard-boot PC.

Now host starts but VM is locked with VMware thinking it is owned by another process (it isn't). How can I access my VM again?

Close Workstation.  Browse to the folder where the virtual machine files reside.  Delete any *.lck files and folders.  Re-open Workstation and try to launch the VM.
