Workstation 14 : impossible to add a second network card

Hello,

I can't add a second network card to my VM (Windows XP) inside Vmware Workstation 14.

I  can see it, but I can't click on it.

Why ?

Probably because your VM is suspended ?

I already tried with Power On and Power Off, with no success.

Inside the VM settings, I can see the second network card, but  I can't check the box.

What happen ?

Power off the VM completely - do not just suspend it.

Then attach the vmx-file of that VM to your next reply.

Then, I couldn't loose time, and reinstall the software on a new computer, and stop the way to the VM.

Huh?

Just like in a physical computer, you cannot add/remove hardware with power on!  And suspended still "has power", saving the state of the system.  Run the guest, and inside the guest click Start-->Shutdown and wait for the guest to power off completely and return to the Workstation UI.  Then you *should* be able to add another network adapter.
