Workstation 10 Linux X540-AT2 on RHEL6.5?

Is there a known problem with the combination of Workstation 10.0.(1-.3) and RHEL6.5 (CentOS6.5, Scientific Linux 6.5, Kernel up to 2.4.32-431.23.3), Intel X540-AT2 hardware and the Intel ixgbe driver up to 3.21.2?

When Workstation 10 is starting a bridged network, the kernel shows messages of the kind of:

and the network performance is going down by a factor of more than 2

Turning off rx and tx offload in the network driver seems to prevent the problem.

So it seems that the ixgbe driver for X540 network cards and Workstation 10 don't work together - is this a known problem?

Thank you in advance!
