Workstation 10.0.1 and ESXi 5.5 networking

I have an extremely frustrating issue that I've been unable to solve for weeks now. I'm running 3 nexted ESXi VMs for my lab. Without any sort of predictability, the ESXi VM (sometimes just one, sometimes two or all three) will disconnect from vCenter, not be pingable, and is unresponsive from the console. The only way to recover is to restart the ESXi VM. When it comes back up, all is well again. I can't find anything too suspicious in the ESXi VM's log, so it seems like it has to be a Workstation issue. I'll post some system information and logs below. Thanks for any insight!

Host:

- Windows Server 2008 R2 Datacenter Edition, 64-bit 6.1.7601, Service Pack 1

- Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600K CPU @ 3.40GHz

- Intel Sandy Bridge rev. 09 / Intel Z68 rev. B3

- 32 GBytes DDR3

Guests:

- ESXi 5.5.0 (1331820)

- 4 vCPU

- 6 GB vMem

- 8 vNICs (6 on vmnet2 and 2 on vmnet3)
