Wireless - Bridged not working properly (Vista Host) WS 6,5

Real Vista Ultimate 64 bit machine can access laptop on same LAN (Wired ) running VISTA 32 bit home premium host and a win xppro guest running on the Laptop.

The Win XP guest on the laptop can access the host machine and the Visat 64 bit machine via the LAN -- no probs.

Enc diagram .

Now if I use WIRELESS the guest can still access the VISTA 64 bit machine on the LAN but not the VISTA Host.

The Vista 64 bit machine can access the Guest OK and the laptop.

Going BONKERS on this one -- My VM should be able to access its own HOST machine - especially if it can access other machines on the LAN. ??

Cheers

Applying SP1 to both Vista machines seemed to fix the problem -- no trouble now with Bridged networking on the VM's (and the built in SD-MMC card reader on the laptop also finally works and is reconizable as a shared disk by all the VM's)

(I can see from VMWARE's point how difficult it is to fix loads of problems -- it can't be simple to determine whether a problem actually is caused by a defect in the host OS or the guest -- and you obviously need to do this before fixing the problem. I was holding off applying SP1 to VISTA but t seems to be OK now).
