I have installed Win7 Enterprise RTM on a guest using the EasyInstall option.
All went well except for a few glitches:
- For some reason it won't work with Bridged networking, which all of my other guests use perfectly well on the same host.
I have to set it to NAT to be able to get to Windows Update and activate Windows etc. Not good. For example I am not getting network connectivity to my hos, so I have to use drag-drop usint the tools to get stuff in and out. Usually i do this with normal networking.
- The second (main) issue is that whenever I start up the Win7 guest it first displays a 1280x1024 window as it should, but then suddenly it goes haywire and flips all sizes of screen around with black contents save for a few narrow color bars!
After 5-10 seconds it stabilizes and shows the desktop again at 1280x1024.
Is there anything at all one can do to stop it from doing this stupid screen flipping?
WIndows 7 is supported fully as a guest OS on Workstation 7. Release Candidate of it you can get here.

Can I keep my WS 6.5.3 while testing WS 7 RC?
Or do I need to uninstall my 6.5.3 first?
I really do not want to mess with a working installation....
