Windows crash with stop code 'system_service_exception'

Having enabled  AMD-V (CPU SVM mode enabled) I get a spectacular crash whenever I open a VM with message above.

Motherboard is Asus ROG Stryx X-570 with AMD Ryzen 9 5900X GPU Radeon 6800XT

Windows 10 Home edition updated to 20H2

Does the crash happen on the host, or in the guest?

Hi,

I'm not sure how far the guest process has proceeded, here is what happens. I open VMware and all is fine, as soon as I start the Ubuntu VM I get the BSOD - not sure from that how to answer your question.

Thank you to asajm and ender_ for their suggestions, but the problem has gone away by upgrading Windows 10 from Home to Education Edition. I don't have any details about why this might be there it is.
