Is Vista the host OS or the guest OS? If it is the hsot OS, what is the guest OS?

So the mouse problem is with your Vista Guest? If so, please try uninstalling the VMware tools in the Guest, rebooting the Guest, and then reinstalling the VMware tools.

Hi there

try disabling the Aero effects on the Vista machine. This certainly cures "Mouse" problems when using VISTA as a Host. No harm in disabling the effects on the Guest. It's only "Eye Cand" anyway --doesn't add any functionality to the OS and I'm not sure if the VM video system can even handle it properly anyway.

Cheers
