I have a Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit VM that I created using VMware Workstation 7.1.4. When I arrange the icons and gadgets on the Windows VM desktop and restart the VM and login, the icons and gadgets are not in the same position that I placed them. I've tried this several times now and can't get the icons and gadgets to remain on the desktop in the positions that I would like them. Has anyone run into this before? Does anyone know if there is a solution to keeping the icons and gadgets on the desktop where they are placed? Any suggestions would be helpful and I thank you in advance.
