I would like to be able to view my native Windows Network on my Ubuntu 64-bit Virtual Machine. When I go to Places>Network and the network file browser comes up I see a folder with the Windows Network caption but if I double-click on that Icon I can't get a connection to the smb network. Can someone please explain to me how to set up the networking aspect of VMWare so that Ubuntu can see my Windows Network? I also have a MacBook Pro but I haven't done any troubleshooting to see if this will appear in the Virtual Machine.
