So got an interesting problem here.... I noticed that video conferencing would not work between my wife's and my PC and after weeks of digging, I traced it down to the fact that VMWare workstation was installed on both of our machines.
When I set both VMWare Network Adapters to DISABLE, the problems all went away.
Has anyone else had any issues like this and were you able to solve them? Both of us use VMWare all the time, but I travel all the time and using WLM Video is great to actually see my kids once in a while.
Thanks for any help!
Stacy
Beside the video conferencing does something else (ping) not work while the VMWare adapters (I assume you talk about VMnet1 and VMNet8) are enabled?
Please post "ipconfig /all" from both machines while these adapters are enabled.

I have same issue, I have to disable 2 adapters installed by VMWare to make live messenger video call work.
