I have Workstation 11 Trial installed in Windows 8 and have been trying to see how Ubuntu Server runs under it. All seems OK, but last night I decided to use rsync to move over files. When I woke up this morning it had paused. Under Windows power saving all I have is screen saver after 30 minutes, hibernate and turn off monitors are disabled and turn off hard disks is set to 20 minutes. The hard disk setting shouldn't really kick in unless there is nothing using it (I think anyways).
Any ideas why it would just sit there until I clicked back on the VM and hit a key?
