Windows Device Encryption Support on a Windows 10 Pro guest

I'm Running VMWare Worstation Pro 16.2.2 and have built a Windows 10 Pro guest VM. I've configured this guiest VM with UEFI, Encrypted VM, added a vTPM and enabled Virtualization Based Security before installing the guest OS. This guest is being configured for use as virtual work environment and so has MDM and other applications automatiaclly installed after first logon. One of the prerequisites though is device encryption. System Info displays this error "Device Encryption Support Reasons for failed automatic device encryption: Hardware Security Test Interface failed and the device is not Modern Standby, Un-allowed DMA-capable bus/device(s) detected". Are there any VM settings that I can change to correct this?
