Windows 8 on Win 7 Host

Hi. Happily running VMWare workstation 7.1.2. I want to test build Windows 8 Enteprise on my Windows 7 host machine. Can I verify which version of VMware I need. There's no option for a Win 8 guest in this version - I tried using the Win7 but to no avail so I assume I need to updgrade

Assuming VMWare 9 will it be ok with my Windows 7 host machine to test Win 8 builds under VMware?

Also, if I go for the upgrade price (which it looks like  can) does that effectively download the VMware 9 .exe file ready for installing ?

Vmware workstation 9 can be used to build Windows 8 as a VM

you can get the binaries downloaded from myvmare portal if you are planning to go for the upgrade
