Windows 7 XP Mode: Possible in Guest OS?

I would like to use Workstation 6.5 to test the new "XP Mode" functionality in the Windows 7 RC 7100 that was just released, but since the feature requires hardware virtualization support, it appears that it may not be possible since the guest OS does not seem to be able to "see" this functionality of the CPU directly.

Does anybody know if there is a way to get this to work?

This is not going to be possible just like you can not run hyper-V within a VM, it has to do with the OS needing to access the VT instructions which are not presented to the VM.

Thanks. I figured that was the case, but I hadn't been able to confirm it anywhere yet.
