Windows 10 version 1909 and VM Workstation Pro update problem

Recently, my computer failed to update to windows 10 version 1909 because of my VM Workstation Pro install.

The recommendation is to uninstall it and install 12.5.9 Player.  I double checked my Workstation Pro version which is 12.5.9,

but Windows update still says no go.  What do I do to correct his issue?

I did search the forum, but not exhaustively.

Workstation 15.5 was the first version to support Windows 10 1909, and the latest version is Workstation 15.5.6 which also supports Windows 10 2004
