Windows 10 Enterprise and VMware Workstation 16 Pro

What do you recommend I do to further secure VMware Workstation 16 Pro after installing it on Windows 10 Enterprise ENTERPRISE and installing a new Windows 10 Enterprise and Kali Linux 2022.1 on VMware Workstation 16 Pro?

Any information on this subject is greatly appreciated.
Regards.

I find your usage of the term "further" a bit strange !
What have you done so far to "secure"  your setup ?
Do you use any Antivirus-tool ?
What about a firewall ?
Do you use Tor - browser or similar ?
And most important - what about bad habbits ? - which is IMHO the highest risk nowadays.

I’m sorry my English skills aren’t up yet.

What I have done up to now to "secure" my setup is :
- Use Trend Micro Maximum Security, Kaspersky Small Office Security, Windows Defender and Clam AntiVirus.
- Only use Browser in the Box, Subgraph OS, i2P, Tor Browser, Whonix Browser, Epic Browser, ZeroNet and Tails.
- Only use Windows 10 Enterprise witch VMware Worstation 16 Pro as a local account and not as the admin account.

I have a paper book of rules and procedures to follow as well as possible and which I regenerate regularly in order to avoid bad habits and any type of risk, threat or error.

Because zero risk does not exist, it is better to know it and deploy strategies of prevention, vigilance and reaction than to cure.

Are you asking for tips to ensure that your VM survives for a long time and is as stable as possible ?

- do not use Autoprotect
- do not use large one piece VMDKs - use the split type
- avoid copy'n'paste to VMs and dont use shared folders
- avoid snapshots and  if you have to, resolve them asap
- make sure to set exclusions for vmware filetypes when configuring your antivirus-tools
- do not use OneDrive or compressed NTFS for the directories where you store your VMs

- if new versions are announced read the forum for a few weeks before you install them
