I am using Windows 10 in VMware Workstation 11 and it seems the latest Windows 10 system update broke some of the compatibility with Vmxnet3 network interfaces.
I need to use this type of network interfaces to configure VLANs directly in Windows.
The issue I am facing is that if I right click properties on any of the 3 NICs in my Windows 10 VM and then scroll down to IPv4 then the option to change the properties is greyed out -> it is not possible to modify the IP address settings anymore, it keeps the old one though.
Wireshark also does not detect any valid network interfaces either since the system update.
I've posted the same information on MS Tech Net forum but it may be of interest to VMware to know that there is something broken in between vmxnet3 and Windows10 currently...
