I've got Workstation 7.1.3 installed on Windows 7, and I'm running a Windows 7 guest. I have two HP L2065 (20", 1600x1200) monitors connected to a NVidia Quadro NVS 290 video card. I used to be able to just click on the Switch-to-multiple-monitors button and the guest would expand as expected to use both monitors, but now I get a message telling me that "- Full screen display mode must be "Autofit guest" ", which it already is!
It stopped working a few weeks ago, and I can't figure out why. I've re-installed the VMware Tools and even reinstalled slightly older versions of VMware Workstation, but nothing seems to bring it back. I believe I'm running the latest version of the video card drivers. Does anyone have any suggestions? Use an older video card driver? Go back to 6.5.x?
