Why does vmware not want to take my money?

I am trying to purchase an upgrade from vmware 15 to 16 on website: https://store-au.vmware.com/checkout/cart/

I receive the following error every time:

"Shopping Cart

OS = Windows 10

I have tried 4 different browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Edge, IE11.

All patches and versions are up to date.

I have owned vmware for about a decade, upgraded every year, and never had problems before.

Interesting.. I just bought a license for a customer 2 days ago in the Dutch shop and while I wasn't impressed by the experience (far from it), it did actually work.

Perhaps @Mikero has an inkling on who to contact to look into this.

FWIW, the forums are for peer to peer support and the people who take care of sales do not visit this forum.

They must have tweaked something under the bonnet overnight - this morning I tried it again and it has worked - successfully purchased and downloaded,
