[WS10] Shared VMs (WM10 Server) - unable to access web management

Hello,

I'm getting a blank page/403/forbidden when i'm trying to access the web interface of the workstation server (shared VMs).

I found the log under C:\ProgramData\VMware\hostd\hostd-x.log:

[00820 verbose 'HTTP server'] Sent Forbidden response for GET / (from C:\Program Files (x86)\VMware\VMware Workstation\hostd\docroot\)

I verified the NTFS security that everyone has access to docroot.

So what could be the issue?

I'm attaching the full log.

I'm on W7 x64 running Workstation 10.0.1.

Hi, in my case i use linux Fedora 19 64 bit and workstation 10 and i have the same issue....

I have installed WSX for bypass the problem, but not all function correctly....

Problem persists even in 10.0.2 ...

Did anyone ever get this webinterface loaded or what?

I have the same issue on multiple machines with Win7x64.
