I just built a windows 10 VM with workstation 10. I had to choose W8 as W10 was not in the OS choices. The machine is working except I cannot choose 2560X1440. I tried turning off the 3d acceleration. I have W8, W7 and XP machines all working fine.
It offers 2048x1536 and 1920X1440 as the top two.
