Booting PXE to upload an image, rdeploy fails and does not detect a hard drive.

Has anyone been aware of this issue and had a resolution for it? I couldn't find anything in this topic concerning this so I though it should be noted here also.
I'm currently trying the suggested method but what changed in v6 that caused this? Is it a vmware issue or more a altiris issue?
The attached suggested method problem is that once all the files are copied and it tries to boot I get a blue screen of death. So yes it gets me past the first issue but then it doesn't allow me to boot the system.
two questions.
1. Is there a way to convert this disk to a IDE disk before I get the blue screen of death? I can't find anyway to work around this issue with my configuration.
2. If 1 can't be done.
How do I take my current vm6 install and either 1 install vm 5.5 so I can use both. This would allow me to create a image and once it is created use it in vm6 or convert all my existing vm files down to 5.5 so I can uninstall 6 and go to 5.5 because I need this function.
