Vmware image size problem

Hi,

I copied around 10GB data in to vmware image(win 2003 server) after that I deleted around 7 gb of data,but when I checked image size its not decreasing.

How to decrease space in vmware image?

Once I copied data in to vmimage and if i delete after use the virtual disk is not decreasing,Please help

You can shrink the .vmdk file by using the VMWare Tools and its shrink option.

Is there is any other tool to decrease size of virtual disk

Shrinking the disk via the VMware Tools is definitely the first step you want to take, as that will reclaim all the empty space on your virtual disk. Are you having issues running it?
