Hi,
I have a problem with Vmware Workstation 6.02 (build 59824) and the keyboard input while logging into the machine. When I try to enter my username and password the characters just stream into the field in multiples of the original charactor. I am unable to log in because the password field also corrupts in the same way.
I have tried reinstalling vmware tools.
I have tried uninstalling and then reinstalling the whole Vmware package.
I have tried starting from scratch with a new VM image.
This behaviour only happens in the Vmware environment and does not replicate in the physical.
Has anyone seen this sort of behaviour before and could anyone suggest a solution please?
