Vmware Workstation 14 doesn't start windows 10 installation

I have started to installing Windows 10 Pro x64 from an ISO downloaded with the official tool by Microoft. I have assigned 8192 Gbyte RAM (i have 16 Gbyte) to the VM but at the start of installation appear this: why? 8 Gb RAM semms to not be enough!!!Immagine.jpg

You may want to check Workstation Preferences (Ctrl+P short in Workstation 12.5.x) in the Memory category.

Check that the "Reserved Memory" slider setting that it is high enough.

You may also want to use the "Allow some virtual machine memory to be swapped" option. The swapping is not bad as it sounds especially if the VM resides on SSD.

If it was already this way you want to reboot the host as what the dialog you saw suggest.

If this is a Linux host with at least kernel 4.13 or higher, you need patched vmmon kernel-modules which you can get from here:
