Vmware Workstaiton 6.5.2 Vista 64 SP1 XP Guest Unity issues

I am on Vista 64 SP1 using workstation 6.5.2 and a XP guest...

The VM works great with unity on one Vista 64 SP1 desktop, and I copied to to another desktop, but it wont work properly. I can launch unity, and see the applications menu, but when Itry to run a program the app window dosn't come up. If I exit unity, I can see all of the applications that I launched...

I already tried to reinstall vmware tools, but it didn't help. I also tried running vmware as an adimistrator.

The only difference between these computers is a slight hardware upgrade (nvidia 8800 -> 9800, core 2 quad 2.4GHz -> core 2 quad 3GHz) and the fact I used a vista install disk that came with SP1 pre-installed.

Any Ideas?

I have exactly the same problem with linux guests and windows guests. It seems to be a problem with Vmware Workstation 6.5.2 on Vista x64 Svpk1.

Same issue here. Any help would be appreciated.

Not sure if this is the same issue for everyone but I uninstalled Sprint Smartview software that runs my wireless card and the issue stopped. Unity works fine now.
