I just upgraded from vs 6 to vs 8 and have an issue. Under ver 6, I had a 2tb physical drive connected to the host machine that I let the vm take control of. I use it to backup 90 gig of data on a nightly basis through ntbackup within the vm (windows 2k server, yea I know it's old). It's not until the upgrade to ver 8 that everything freezes in the vm when attaching the drive. As soon as I detach the drive, the vm responds normally. How can I attach the device properly so I can run my backups? Thanks in advance for ANY ideas...
