Vmware 7.0.0-203739: Error 1327 Invalid Drive D:\ during install

I keep receiving error 1327 during the installation processs. I don't even have a drive d: on my system. Any ideas?

Such a stingy error shouldn't occur, but it might be possible that an usb drive (stick-drive or usb-hard-drive) might have lost connection, hence the obscure error.

maybe that error appears when trying to install Win7 or Win2008 in a VM ?

then it is quite normal and has been reported several times before ...

We just do not know enough to continue guessing ...
