VmWorkstation to change the ethernet NIC Driver from Vlance to E1000E

 

 

We use VmWorkstation on the moment. I read here

https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/1001805

that it is possible to change the ethernet NIC Driver from Vlance to E1000E. How can I do this ? Do we need another product from vmware company ?

You need a text editor to edit the .vmx file of the VM

Take a copy of the .vmx file first.
