Hi,
I am running VmWorkstation 10.05 under Windows 7 Enterprise Host with Centos 6.x Virtual Machine on a Toshiba Satellite LapTop.
I have turned my wireless network off by the switch in the front of the laptop.
I am connecting to a 2-Wire residential gateway for internet via the Ethernet port on the laptop.
I have set up the vmware networking from the VM to the host.
In CentOS the ethernet adapter is set to DHCP.
When I sniff the traffic in the VM I see the DHCP requests go out but never get any response back.
When I sniff the traffic in the HOST I do not see the DHCP requests at ALL.
Any ideas as to what I am missing?
