VmWare Convtor - Elastix (linux) only CLI based. converstion

hi!

i have Linux based CLI machine running on separate server.192.168.1.1/24 the machine i am running vm converter 192.168.1.2/24. i like to to convert the 192.168.1.1/24 machine .backup will be on the same machine 192.168.1.2/24 on which the VM converter is installed.

Please guide.

Welcome to the communities.

Few things comes to my mind

1- you are trying to convert physical to virtual or virtual to virtual ?

2- After installing standalone converter sw turnoff firewall both end .

3- you must have administrative rights
