Vm Workstation and Networking

I need to use VM Workstation as a solution to house applications on Windows XP (Guest OS) on Windows 7 machines (Host OS) where the host gets an IP of 192.168.100.x from a server and I need the VM install to only use an IP(static) of 10.0.0.x is this possible. Only 1 NIC card per machine. I need to route all of the 10.0.0.x traffic to s specific port on my firewall.

Thanks

Welcome to the Community,

I can't think of a way to achieve this. I'd recommend you get a second NIC and dedicate it to the VM traffic.

what about this

host:

192.168.100.x on bridged nic = vmnet0

guest XP

10.0.0.x on virtual nic vmnet9

router VM - a small OpenBSD for example

192.168.100.x on bridged nic = vmnet0

10.0.0.1 on virtual nic = vmnet9
