Hello all,
I may some form of idiot, but I cant get VMware Workstation 6.5.3 to recognise usb memory devices. The host is vista, and I have tried Ubuntu, Kubuntu (KDE is pretty) and a couple of other VMs.
From what I read whilst trawling through google, it seems like I should just be able to click on VM>Removable Devices, then there will be an USB sub-section which can be used to allow the guest access, but on each VM I try to use, there is no USB option, even though in the VMs's settings, they are set and all the boxes are ticked in the usb options 😕
I've only just started using VMware so I am by no means well educated in the matter, but I am also not a technofool. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
