installed DirectX, but where or how to enable 3D GI..??
Workstation User Manual>Video>Enabling the experimental 3D Graphics.
it says:
Experimental support for Direct3D applies only to Windows 2000 and Windows XP
guests, on hosts running Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Linux.
i've got vista in a vm on my xp host.. so i guess it not gunna work then huh..
what about the new VM beta 6.5 will that work any better in my situation..??
In the Workstation 6.5 beta, the 3D graphics are no longer labelled "experimental", there's GUI selections for it (on by default), and is enhanced. So it may work better for you. It all depends on exactly what the requirements of the application are, though. Some pieces are still not emulated.
OK, I instaled WM-WARE 6.5 Beta 2.
and the game will still not work becuz of some spec errors..
so i went to to get my ratings for both Host & VM-Guest
PC was ok to RUN it, but the VM-Ware was short on 2 things: Pixle Shader Ver 2.0 & Low Disk Space
So how do I get Pixle Shader Ver 2.0 working in my Vista-32-U-VM..??
How Do I increase the Free VM Disk Space..??

Shader 2.0 - you cannot. That capability is not enabled in the VMware driver at this time.
Increase free disk space. Either add a new virtual disk, or expand the size of your existing one (using the vmware-vdiskmanager utility).
so there's no way to run any PC game in vmware that require this Shader 2.0..??
whats this about..??
DirectX 9.0 Shader 2 3D in VMware Fusion 2.0 Beta 1

You need to update the virtual hardware. Your virtual machine is still a v6.0 virtual machine. From the VM menu, select Upgrade or Change Version.
OK, KEWL.. ITZ WERKINGZ NOW.. WAHOOOO..
THANK YOU ALL FOR THE HELP..
Ahh, sorry. It's Pixel Shader 3.0 support that is missing, 2.0 is there. I don't speak from experience, as any games I just play directly on my Windows host - no reason at all to use a VM for gaming for me.
