Virtualized 2003 Server virtual nic not working, but correctly installed and shown in environment..

Hi to all, I'm experiencing a problem with Workstation 9. I've virtualized via Vmcenter Standalone Converter ad old customer 2003 server and DC. Virtualization gone perfect, i mount my virtual machine on Workstation 9, installed vmware tools ad putted the correct ip address on virtual nic. I'm using bridged replicated connection (tried also nat...same issue). The VM shows correctly the nic, ping itself with no problems...but not ping the rest of the lan...the base machine works perfectly. I've tried to remove-reinstalla tools, reset winsock and tcp...nothing. The firewall is disabled...anyone have taken this issue?

Thank you.

Alex.

Please check the VM's configuration (.vmx) file to see what type/model of NIC is configured for the VM. You should find

ethernet0.virtualDev = "e1000"

If this entry doesn't exist or has a different value, add/modify it (with the VM powered off and the VM's tab closed).
