Good day! There is a problem in the driver with an example of WDK 7.1 "Virtual serial port" when connecting to WmWare WorkStation 9.0.2. In the driver on a real machine is no problem. When I Mapped virtual serial port to a virtual machine get the error message "serial0: Unable to read from the" COM X "serial port: Overlapped I / O operation is in progress". During debugging, the driver can be seen that the error is displayed after responding to a request IOCTL_SERIAL_WAIT_ON_MASK.
Why the virtual machine gets this error?
