This happens with any image that I use. Even known working images. Right after I make the instance and boot it up it then freezes.
I have reinstalled VMware workstation 15.
Downloaded a new copy of the program and installed that one.
When it freezes it will not shut down, and I can not kill vmware-vmx.exe. Even with psexplorer or cmd.exe. I have to reboot the computer. It looks like these two issues are hand in hand.
Event viewer doesn't seem to come up with anything related.
Maybe when uninstalling a corrupted file remains?
