Hi all. I'm new here. I started off using VMWare Workstation Player and a Windows 10 Pro 1903 virtual machine. It started ramdomlily giving me BSoDs and eventually quit booting at all. After that I decided to buy Workstation Pro just so I could recover several days worth of work by mapping the vmdk file for the corrupt OS. That worked great and I was able to recover all of my files. After that I built a new virtual machine again with Windows 10 Pro 1903 but it was BSoDing more that the last one. I finally gave up and deleted the machine after I couldn't do something simple like installing Microsoft Office.
I guess my question is, what can I do to troubleshoot this problem and are there any known issues with VMware and Windows 10 as the virtual? In my mind it has to be something related to VMware since I'm not doing anything crazy or out of the ordinary on this virtual. I'm just trying to install and use well known and very stable software.
