OK so i started out trying to setup a virtual SOFS Cluster using shared disks with vmware. I got two Server 2012R2 machines in a cluster and attached 4 shared vmdks. Both machines saw the 4 disk however when i went to make the pool the disks would get stuck in an operational status of "Starting".
The way i made the shared disk was following this guide.

I dug around and found it was possible in Hyper V doing a trick with shared disks

Which i setup and have working.
My question is how can i make this work in VMware.
